Proud Member of the Northern Territory Law Society
The Law Society is a statutory body constituted under the Legal Profession Act (NT), which controls and regulates the affairs of the legal profession in the NT and offers services to lawyers. The Society is the only body in the NT that is able to issue Practising Certificates to lawyers.
For the community, the Society investigates complaints made against lawyers and has also produced information relating to legal costs.
We offer a First Interview Scheme service which enables members of the public to have an initial 30-minute consultation with a legal practitioner for $99 (including GST).
Meet our dedicated Staff
Ankurpreet Singh LLB, GDLP Graduated from Charles Darwin University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2019 and from The College of Law with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2020 He practices in Criminal, Immigration, Family, Commercial and Civil Law. Ankurpreet has invaluable practical legal experience at a national major law firm and in addition to English, he fluently speaks Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu. .
Jeff was admitted to legal practice in 2017 and holds a Master of Legal Practice degree from the Australian National University. He has qualifications as a Real Estate Business and Property Agent and also practices in the areas of Criminal Law, Property Law, Consumer Law and Migration Law. Jeff always aims to provide timely legal advice with a focus on the efficient and equitable resolution of any matters. .
